Civil Project Engineer

Mission

• You are responsible for the Civil Engineering scope within multidisciplinary high-voltage network projects, from the definition phase through to project close-out.
• You develop and validate technical solutions during the engineering and design phases.
• You provide input for the preparation of project budgets and schedules.
• You coordinate, review, and follow up on permit and execution studies, including environmental studies, structural analyses, and architectural and construction drawings.
• You guide and support designers during the detailed engineering phase to ensure the project scope is delivered correctly.
• You manage and supervise external engineering partners and study contractors involved in the project.
• You prepare technical procurement documentation for the selection and contracting of construction contractors.
• You provide technical support during tendering and construction phases while ensuring coordination and reporting within the multidisciplinary project team.

Profile

• You hold a Civil Engineering degree or have equivalent relevant experience.
• You are fluent in Dutch and have a good command of French.
• You demonstrate strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• You place a high emphasis on quality and continuous improvement.
• You have a strong affinity with civil engineering techniques, geotechnical engineering, and structural analysis principles.
• You are capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritizing your workload.
• You are solution-oriented and proactive, with the ability to propose alternatives and drive progress.
• You are autonomous, rigorous, and comfortable working in a multidisciplinary project environment.
