Senior CAD Designer Structure Génie Civil

Mission

• You support the Design Engineer in the study and design of civil engineering structures throughout all project phases, from feasibility studies to detailed design and execution.
• You develop 2D drawings and 3D models for structures, reinforcement, hydraulic and geotechnical works.
• You prepare design deliverables for tender packages related to bridges, viaducts, railway underpasses, retaining structures, tunnels, and technical buildings.
• You ensure the integration of your designs within their environment and coordinate with other disciplines such as track, catenary, and signalling.
• You work in accordance with BIM (Building Information Modeling) principles to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
• You analyse design challenges and contribute to the identification of effective technical solutions.
• You review and verify third-party deliverables, including 3D models, formwork drawings, reinforcement drawings, and workshop plans.
• You prepare quantity take-offs for bills of quantities and leverage AI-assisted design tools to enhance quality and standardization.

Profile

• You have significant experience as a CAD Designer in civil engineering projects, ideally within the railway sector.
• You hold a technical secondary education diploma in industrial or civil engineering drafting, or an equivalent qualification.
• You have a strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and a good command of Revit Structures.
• You are proficient in MS Office tools, including Word and Excel.
• You have experience producing drawings and models for civil engineering projects; knowledge of Civil 3D is considered an asset.
• You are capable of working autonomously while contributing effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• You are motivated, eager to learn, precise, pragmatic, and possess strong communication skills.
• You are fluent in French or Dutch, with knowledge of the other national language considered an advantage.
