Structural Steel Engineer Offshore

Mission

• You perform structural steel calculations as part of a strategic EPC project.
• You analyze and leverage existing data from the tender phase.
• You use calculation tools such as NAPA Steel and DNV FEA Software Sesam Genie to model and verify structures.
• You ensure compliance of calculations with DIN EN ISO 1090 and DIN EN 18088 standards.
• You verify client technical requirements and ensure their proper implementation.
• You work closely with an integrated and multidisciplinary project team.
• You participate in technical exchanges with partners involved in baseframe interfaces.
• You contribute to the quality and reliability of technical deliverables within deadlines.

Profile

• You are a mechanical engineer specialized in steel structures.
• You have experience in mechanical and/or structural steel calculations.
• You ideally have experience in the offshore sector.
• You are proficient in calculation tools such as NAPA Steel and/or DNV Sesam Genie.
• You have a good knowledge of DIN EN ISO 1090 and DIN EN 18088 standards.
• You are fluent in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
• You are able to work in a team while remaining autonomous in your analyses.
• You are willing to travel for an initial 3 to 4 weeks presence in Germany, followed by occasional trips. And after in Belgium or in France.
