For our client in Brussels we are looking for a Quality Assurance & Support Coordinator.
Mission
You will:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management framework aligned with ISO 9001 standards, tailored to high-voltage primary system equipment (switchgear, transformers, insulated cables & overhead lines) supplied and installed within the Belgian grid.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders—including engineering, procurement, quality, IT, and asset management departments—to ensure seamless integration of quality processes across project phases.
- Support supplier qualification activities through planning and conducting audits, reviewing quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001), and developing quality control plans for the installation of HV equipment.
- Monitor and analyze supplier performance via KPIs, maintaining a supplier quality dashboard based on qualitative feedback and quantitative data.
- Assist in the certification and validation of supplier activities during manufacturing, site installation, and testing phases, including factory and site acceptance tests.
- Manage documentation processes, including setup and management of document exchange platforms (SharePoint, eDoc, HyperTree), ensuring proper organization, publishing, and archiving of technical data.
- Contribute to process mapping, creation, and archiving of internal procedures, using tools such as flowcharts, swimlane diagrams, PACI tables, and BPMN models.
- Foster a culture of quality awareness by building and maintaining knowledge of ISO 9001 principles and process mapping techniques, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the verification and validation of non-conformities, implementing corrective action plans based on Lessons Learned (REX).
- Facilitate communication with external inspectors and coordinate inspection activities related to factory and site acceptance tests.
- Ensure operational compliance through effective use of IT tools and adherence to procedures.
- Be willing to visit ETB installations across Belgium and travel within Europe to engage with suppliers and conduct audits.
Profile
You have:
- A technical or engineering background with relevant experience in quality management systems, supplier follow-up, and processes related to high-voltage or primary system equipment.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards and their practical application within technical projects.
- Proven experience in mapping, creating, and optimizing business and operational processes.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, with proficiency in Dutch and/or French highly preferred.
- An open, curious mindset complemented by a proactive, independent work approach.
- Adequate organizational skills with meticulous attention to technical detail.
- Ability to work effectively with procedures, templates, and IT tools such as SharePoint, eDoc, HyperTree, and asset databases.
- Willingness to work two days onsite at Monnoyer and to travel within Belgium and across Europe as required.
