Construction Lead Supervisor (Building Works)

Mission

• You oversee all on-site construction activities on a major commercial project in Belgium, ensuring alignment with plans, specifications, and safety regulations.

• You lead and motivate construction teams and subcontractors, fostering a high-performance and safety-driven work environment.

• You implement and enforce strict quality control and safety measures, ensuring compliance with QA inspections and building codes.

• You coordinate scheduling, logistics, and materials procurement to ensure efficient progress and cost-effective execution.

• You proactively identify and resolve site challenges, maintaining workflow and minimizing disruptions.

• You report regularly on project progress, budget performance, and risks to project managers and stakeholders.

• You act as the primary on-site contact, ensuring clear communication between engineers, managers, and external contractors.

Profile

• You have proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or Lead on large-scale commercial building projects.

• You possess strong technical knowledge of construction processes, materials, and Belgian building regulations.

• You can confidently read and interpret complex technical drawings and project plans.

• You demonstrate excellent leadership, organization, and problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments.

• You are fluent in English, with proficiency in French or Dutch considered an advantage.

• You hold a qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• You have valid safety certifications (VCA, OSHA, or equivalent) or are willing to obtain them.
