Senior RAMS Engineer

For our client in Brussels, we are looking for a Senior RAMS Engineer. 

Mission

• You support Signalling Project teams in safety-related aspects.
• You contribute to the design and development of railway signalling systems in compliance with European standards (CENELEC EN50126, EN50128, EN50129).
• You ensure system compliance by conducting safety and reliability analyses (FMECA, FTA, HAZOP, PHI/PHA).
• You perform safety reviews and collaborate with design, testing, project management, and operational teams.
• You execute activities as outlined in railway project safety plans.
• You prepare safety case documents for new or modified signalling systems.
• You liaise with external assessment bodies (Independent Safety Assessor/Independent Assessor) to obtain certification and commissioning.
• You provide feedback and propose improvements applicable to other projects.

Profile

• You hold a Master’s degree in Engineering (Electromechanical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or equivalent).
• You have more than 15 years of experience in railway safety and RAMS systems.
• You have in-depth knowledge of CENELEC EN50126, EN50128, EN50129, and safety analysis methodologies.
• You have experience with railway signalling systems, including ETCS and interlocking.
• You are a team player with strong collaboration skills across different stakeholders.
• You have excellent communication skills in French and Dutch (both written and spoken).
• You have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
