Quality Officer

Mission

• Act as the primary Quality Officer for the Island Package, ensuring all quality-related activities are effectively managed and followed up.

• Serve as the key link between Quality Assurance and Quality Control, collaborating closely with the package team and the EPC Contractor.

• Implement, monitor, and maintain the Project Quality Management System according to the Elia Quality Management Plan and project requirements.

• Review, challenge, and validate quality documentation from the EPC Contractor and subcontractors.

• Contribute actively to internal and external audits while supporting quality control activities, including non-conformity follow-up and risk mitigation.

Profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Quality Management; experience in offshore, EPCI, maritime, or major civil works projects is a strong advantage.

• Technical educational background (bachelor/master or equivalent experience), complemented by solid computer, data, and document management skills.

• Communicative, structured, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a critical mindset and the ability to challenge when needed.

• Strong team player with the ability to motivate colleagues and promote adherence to quality processes and procedures.

• Fluent in English; Dutch is an asset. Preferably Belgium-based and available for occasional business or offshore trips.
