Project Manager (BMS/PMS)
Our client in Farciennes is looking for a Project Manager BMS/PMS.
Mission
As Project Manager BMS/PMS, you will play a key role in the delivery of complex construction projects, particularly in high-tech environments such as data centres and industrial facilities. You will be responsible for the full construction lifecycle of Building Monitoring Systems (BMS) and Power Management Systems (PMS) packages, ensuring safe, high-quality, on-time and on-budget delivery.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Supporting overall project planning and schedule management, ensuring seamless integration of BMS and PMS within the global construction program.
- Acting as a visible safety leader on site, ensuring strict compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
- Leading the delivery, integration, commissioning and handover of all BMS/PMS systems.
- Coordinating with MEP teams, automation specialists, commissioning engineers and subcontractors.
- Managing the procurement, installation and commissioning of all BMS and PMS components in line with design specifications and client requirements.
- Monitoring costs, progress, quality and technical compliance, and resolving any deviations or issues quickly.
- Leading subcontractor and vendor meetings and driving the final handover documentation and acceptance process.
Profile
You are an experienced construction professional with strong technical and leadership skills, and you bring:
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager / Project Manager on large, complex projects, preferably in data centres, industrial or high-tech buildings.
- A degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong expertise in BMS, PMS and critical infrastructure systems.
- Experience managing specialist subcontractors and technology vendors.
- Excellent leadership, coordination and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid knowledge of the full construction lifecycle (procurement, installation, commissioning and handover).
- Proficiency in planning tools, cost control and quality management processes.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary and multicultural project teams.
