Senior Structural & Civil Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer specialized in industrial construction projects for our client located in Mont-Saint-Guibert.

Mission

The ideal candidate has solid experience in managing complex projects, in-depth knowledge of Belgian regulations, and the ability to supervise large-scale projects from the design phase through on-site execution.

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will:

• Be ultimately responsible for the technical evaluation of civil, structural and architectural engineering assignments, including calculations, cost estimates, pricing and execution;
• Be able to provide accurate preliminary cost estimates, both at commercial stage and during the early execution phases of projects;
• Ensure proper and timely execution of all projects, including resource allocation, activity planning and financial follow-up;
• Ensure the integration of departmental activities into the overall project execution;
• Identify risks and implement necessary measures to mitigate potential losses;
• Maintain a high level of quality through the Quality Management System;
• Work closely with Business Development Managers and Project Managers.

Profile

You have:

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or equivalent;
• At least 5 years of experience in industrial construction;
• Experience in civil engineering, steel structure design, feasibility studies, cost estimation, drafting technical specifications, issuing requests for quotation, tender follow-up, bid comparison and site supervision;
• A good knowledge of industry standards and norms;
• Excellent command of French and English (knowledge of Dutch is a plus);
• Willingness to travel according to project and departmental needs.
