HSE Coordinator
As an HSE Coordinator, you’ll join a high-performing, safety-driven team delivering complex projects where health, safety, and environmental excellence are paramount. You’ll play a pivotal role in creating a safe, compliant, and engaging work environment, influencing both daily operations and long-term safety culture. Mission
- You demonstrate a clear and consistent commitment to HSE policies, procedures, and objectives across the project.
- You organize and deliver on-site HSE inductions for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- You facilitate workers’ forums to encourage engagement, feedback, and continuous improvement in HSE performance.
- You support and participate in community-related HSE initiatives as required.
- You actively participate in weekly HSE coordination meetings with SPC, PMC, and Owner teams.
- You participate in monthly Senior Leadership Team (SLT) Safety Walks, providing insights and recommendations.
- You conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate requirements.
- You identify unsafe acts and conditions, initiate corrective actions, and follow up to closure.
- You prepare HSE reports, monitor KPIs, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the project.
Profile
- You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in HSE management, preferably in construction, industrial, or high-risk environments.
- You possess in-depth knowledge of HSE legislation, corporate standards, and best practices.
- You demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to influence teams and contractors on-site.
- You communicate effectively — verbally and in writing — and are confident in delivering inductions, workshops, and safety briefings.
- You are proficient in reporting tools and Microsoft Office applications.
- You bring a collaborative mindset, promoting a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- You are proactive, autonomous, and highly organized, with a strong attention to detail.
- You are committed to safety excellence and motivated to make a tangible impact on project HSE performance.
