Quantity Surveyor (CSA)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor (CSA) to support the delivery of large-scale data center projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful commercial management and cost control of Civil, Structural, and Architectural works across complex, fast-paced, and highly regulated projects.
Mission
- You act as a key commercial lead for CSA packages within technically complex data center projects, ensuring effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- You support the project team from pre-construction through to final account closure, contributing to cost certainty, contractual compliance, and commercial performance.
- You prepare and manage CSA cost plans, budgets, and cash flows, monitoring deviations, risks, and opportunities.
- You support procurement and tendering processes for CSA packages, including the review of bids, commercial proposals, and contract conditions.
- You assess variations, change orders, and claims related to CSA works, evaluating entitlement, pricing, and impact on schedule and budget.
- You review contractor payment applications, track commitments and forecasts, and prepare cost reports for internal and client stakeholders.
- You ensure alignment with data center technical standards, phasing constraints, and fast-track construction requirements.
- You coordinate closely with MEP QS teams, contractors, and construction management to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines.
Profile
- You hold a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- You have extensive experience as a QS CSA on large-scale data center projects.
- You have proven experience in managing complex CSA packages within fast-track or phased construction environments.
- You have strong contractual and commercial acumen.
- You have excellent cost control, reporting, and negotiation skills.
- You have an in-depth understanding of CSA construction methods and data center requirements.
- You are able to work effectively in multidisciplinary, high-pressure project environments.
- You have strong communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
