Eplan Electrical Design Administrator

For our client in Beersel (Huizingen) we are looking for Eplan Electrical Designer with experience in robotics, machine automation, or logistics systems

As an EPLAN Electrical Design Administrator, you are the technical reference point within the engineering team. You manage and optimize the entire EPLAN environment for our turnkey projects in logistics automation and machine tending. 

Your expertise ensures that all electrical design standards, libraries, templates, and data remain accurate, consistent, and up to date, enabling the engineering team to deliver high quality designs efficiently.

Mission 

• Manage, configure, and optimize the EPLAN P8 environment and all associated databases.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce electrical design standards, libraries, macros, and templates.
• Support electrical designers in creating and structuring schematics.
• Review electrical diagrams for quality, consistency, and compliance with ABB standards.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support to the engineering team.
• Coordinate version control, documentation management, and as?built files.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, software engineers, mechanical teams, and commissioning engineers.
• Train and support colleagues in EPLAN usage and new workflows.
• Drive improvements in the design process and contribute to digitalisation initiatives.

Profile

• Bachelor or Master in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience with EPLAN P8 (design and/or administration).
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, components, and industrial automation.
• Experience in robotics, machine automation, or logistics systems is a strong asset.
• Structured, detail oriented, and passionate about optimisation and standardisation.
• Strong communication skills; able to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Good command of Dutch or French
