Mission
- You ensure the highest quality standards in the manufacturing, procurement, and installation of mechanical equipment for nuclear facilities.
- You support dismantling activities by performing quality control inspections on equipment intended for nuclear waste storage.
- You contribute to the operation and long-term performance of nuclear power plants by ensuring mechanical components and systems meet rigorous nuclear safety standards.
- You perform quality inspections within non?nuclear technologies when required.
- You conduct QC inspection missions during manufacturing at suppliers’ premises and during installation on plant operator sites.
- You intervene at witness and hold points defined in the manufacturer’s Inspection and Test Plans.
- You verify that goods comply with technical requirements and previously approved quality control documentation.
- You examine and approve documentation resulting from manufacturing and installation activities.
Profile
- You possess strong reporting and communication skills, along with knowledge of mechanical equipment manufacturing codes and standards such as ASME, RCC-M, EN-13445, EN-13450 and EN 1090.
- You hold a Master’s degree in (electro)mechanical engineering or have an equivalent level of expertise through demonstrated experience.
- You have at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing processes and quality control (including destructive and non?destructive examination).
- You are familiar with mechanical equipment such as pressure vessels, valves, pumps, heat exchangers, piping, as well as raw materials like forgings, castings, and plates.
- You are proficient in Dutch or French, and have a good command of English.
- You work comfortably with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- You are willing to perform occasional non-continuous shift work depending on project needs.
- You are available for national and international travel, typically one inspection per week lasting 2–3 days, mainly within Europe.
