Quality Officer

For our client in Brussels we are looking for a Quality Officer to manage and follow-up all Quality related topics within a major Offshore project. 

Mission

• You act as the primary Quality Officer for the Island Package, ensuring all quality-related activities are properly managed and monitored.
• You serve as the main interface between Quality Assurance and Quality Control, working closely with the package team and the EPC Contractor.
• You implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System in line with the Elia Quality Management Plan and project requirements.
• You review, challenge, and approve quality documentation from the EPC Contractor and subcontractors.
• You participate in internal and external audits, supporting quality control activities, including non-conformity follow-up and risk mitigation.

Profile

• You have at least 5 years of proven experience in Quality Management, preferably in offshore, EPCI, maritime, or large civil works projects.
• You hold a technical degree (Bachelor/Master or equivalent) and possess strong skills in document management, data analysis, and IT tools.
• You are structured, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a critical mindset and the ability to challenge when necessary.
• You are a strong team player, able to motivate colleagues and promote compliance with quality processes and procedures.
• You are fluent in English; Dutch is an asset. You are based in Belgium and available for occasional business or offshore trips.
