Mission
- Knowledge about solid, liquid and gaseous radioactive waste types and treatment
- Knowledge about treatment and conditioning of solid radioactive waste
- Co-development (with senior experts) of waste management strategies
- Writing technical specifications, technical follow-up of contracts and commissioning of installations for the treatment and/or conditioning of radioactive waste.
- Verify the technical work performed by your peers
- Provide regular feedback about ongoing activities
- Actively engage in knowledge sharing with others
- Working in close relationship with the final client and interact with Safety Authorities and Radioactive Waste Management Agencies.
Profile
- You have a master’s degree in engineering / sciences / physics / chemistry
- You know French or Dutch and English
- You have knowledge on the working principles of a Nuclear Power Plant (type Pressurized Water Reactor)
- You have knowledge about waste management systems of the Belgian NPPs is an asset
- You have working experience in the nuclear sector
