Project Engineer (Overhead Lines)

For our client in Brussels, we are looking for a junior Project Engineer with a background in Electrical Engineering

Mission 

As Project Engineer LINES, you will contribute to major electrical infrastructure projects (380, 220, 150, 70, and 36 kV). In this key technical role within the Engineering Department, you will ensure the coherence, quality, and functionality of project designs while working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

As a Project Engineer, you will be: 

• Working closely with Project Leaders and fellow Project Engineers, taking the technical lead while the Project Leader focuses on organizational aspects.
• Participating actively in all project phases—from feasibility and conceptual studies to project closure.
• Serving as the bridge between the design team, technical experts, and Project Leader.
• Contributing to the project’s technical scope and design and conducting various technical studies.
• Guiding the design team during the detailed study phase and ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards and agreed-upon scope.
• Identifying the impact of new concepts on project execution and taking appropriate actions to maintain planned progress.
• Communicating and reporting on project progress clearly and timely.

Profile

• Master’s degree in engineering with strong interest in electrical engineering, electrotechnics, automation, or energy.
• Knowledge of electricity grids is an asset.
• Very good command of French, with understanding of Dutch and English.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Analytical ability to solve complex technical problems.
